Mary Fly renders sounds of magical mystique --- having a vocal quality that becomes endearing to one's inner-most passions. Her voice is soft as she emits chords that approach that of Norah Jones or Billie Holiday, yet, she has greater depth as she intonates an ethnic cajun mixed with a rapturous soul. Her sensual movements are unrehearsed but provocative.
As a variety artist, Mary enjoys her saxophones and can cut sounds that meet those of any professional — she leads her own, and/or a gumbo of band groups that can be hastily put together.
CD sales are brisk and can be found at some ES retail stores or on her website. Some of the favorites are “Fly & the Swatters” and "The Magoos," a Christmas album.
